               We do our best to answer as many questions here as we can if anything that is not

   Question      Are all your prices quoted per person or per car

    Answer         All our prices are per car / mpv / 8 Seater, not per person

                           any deviation from the original booking however will incur extra charges.

                          We dont like to do this but our drivers time and vehicle costs do mount up

                          So please make sure that everything is covered in your booking cost

                      I.E.         1.   Extra pickups not on the original booking

                                     2.  Any customer Deviation from pick up from booked address to Airport or vis versa

                                     3.  On arrival at the customers booked pick up point at the allocated time

                                           and causing excessive delays.

                                     4. Not informing the office on their arrival at the airport that they have a

                                         problem in clearing customs  (we enter the arrival hall three quarters of an hour
                                         after the plane has landed then we allow one hour after this giving you one and
                                         three quarters of an hour to meet our driver)  after the plane has landed.

                                        Bristol we will pick you up at the short term car park / drop off point

                                       5.   We can arrive at the terminal earlier by prior arrangement with the customer


Question                       Is first County Cars a licensed operator.

Answer                         Yes,       County Cars is fully licensed with West Wilts District Council ,all are vehicles

                                                are Hackney licence plated and insured for private and public hire with a public

                                                liability limit of £5,000,000.00  

                                     All our drivers hold full Hackney licences and have been C,R,B checked.and have NVQ level 2



Question          Do you have lady drivers

Answer            NO.     unfortunately we don't.   


Question          Do you allow smoking in the vehicles

Answer                     Sorry no, all are vehicles are strictly non smoking however our drivers

                                  are happy to have a short stop on the journey where you can have a puff  outside of the vehicle

                                   All Gatwick, Stanstead , Luton will include a short stop for our drivers to stretch their legs.


Question          Where do you meet us at the airport    

Answer             All customers are met at in the arrivals hall our drivers will call you and arrange were to meet.

                                   Our Driver will be holding a meeting sheet with your name on it


                                 Bristol where you will be met at the short term car park/drop off point

                                 Southampton you will be met by the arrivals exit in the arrivals hall

                                 Bournemouth you will be met in the arrivals building by the exit door


Question        Do you pick up at any time      

Answer          1. Yes we pick up at any time 24 hours 7 days a week however this must be pre booked

                                 One way journeys from any airport must be pre booked and paid in advance.

                          2. Journeys from your home or office address and your return you can pay our driver on your pick  up.


Question        What happens if my flight is delayed

Answer          We Monitor all incoming flights that we have customers on however if you have

                             a delay you will know before us ,so just a quick call would be much appreciated

                             as airports are not 100% accurate on there timings and there is nothing worse than

                             arriving at the terminal only to find that the flight has been delayed especially

                             Bristol Airport which has very poor information updates.


Question       Will we arrive at the airport on time or will the driver be waiting for us on our return

Answer         This is difficult to predict ,at the time of booking you will be asked your check in time

                             by our call staff of which we then add on the normal journey times ,however if there

                             is any unforeseen circumstances on the journey i.e.

                           1. An accident   2. Heavy Traffic congestion  3. Vehicle breakdown  4. Traffic Diversions Etc

                              we cannot except any liability for any unforeseen events ,the answer is to give yourself extra

                              time for your travel to the airport

                              extra time for the journey  or  Please  Telephone us that there is a delay on your outbound flight

                              (returning to the  uk) especially short haul flights.

                             Again we do our best to be at the airport on time for your return .   Our drivers will arrive approx.

                             3/4  of an hour after the flight has landed. this is the approx. time that it will take you to clear

                             customs and collect your luggage. or earlier by Prior arrangement



Question      How do I make a booking , when do I need to book

Answer      1. By telephoning our office , by Email , by our online booking system or Fax us

                        2. Booked as early as possible especially our 6 seater  mpvs and 8 seater people carriers

                             as these vehicles do become unavailable very quickly.

                        3. If you require an urgent booking i.e. you are flying the next day it is best to telephone straight away


Question      How do we pay for the service

Answer        1.  For both way trips you can pay our driver ,half of the fare on the outward journey

                            and the remainder on your return.

                           2. One way bookings only (from any uk airport ),we do request payment in advance                   

                     3. Payment type:  Cash ,Accounts Cheques bank transfer.

                     4. Accounts please telephone for our opening of private and corporate accounts


Question     Tipping and Luggage

Answer      1. You are not required to tip the driver and they do not expect it however it is in entirely

                             at your discretion if you feel that he or she has given you a good personal service.

                      2. By law we are not allowed to carry any luggage of any nature inside the vehicle

                             please check at the time of booking that the vehicle is suitable for your requirements

                              as a larger vehicle may be more suitable.  

                     3. All belongings and luggage belonging to customers carried in any of our vehicles is entirely

                         at the customers risk we do not except any liability in the event of any damage or loss incurred
